where are you located and do you travel?
I am based in beautiful Navarre, Florida, and frequently serve Pensacola, Destin, Fort Walton, and the 30A area. I am always happy to travel! If your dream location is outside of the Emerald Coast, just let me know, and we can discuss travel arrangements.
What should we wear for our beach session?
Coordination is key, but "matching" is out! I recommend soft neutrals, blues, or earthy tones that complemet the white sand and emerald water. Once you book, I'll send over my full styling guide to help you pick the perfect outfits for your group.
What is the best time of day for photos?
For that glowing "Golden Hour" look, I schedule all beach sessions approximately 60 minutes before sunset. The light is soft, flattering, and avoids those harsh "squinty" shadows caused by the midday Florida sun.
My kids might be difficult-what do we do?
Don't stress! As a parent and former educator, I've seen it all. I want your kids to move around, skip, jump, laugh, and PLAY! I keep my sessions fast-paced and fun. For kids, we play games to keep them engaged during the shoot. During the session, we will move a lot to keep the vibe relaxed, fun, and authentic!
we're awkward in front of the camera. Will you help us?
Yes, 100%! My goal is to make you feel like you're just hanging out with a friend. I use a "prompt-based" posing style, which means I give you small actions to do together rather than stiff, traditional poses. This results in those natural, candid smiles everyone loves.
How long does it take to get our photos back?
I know you're excited to see your memories! For full portrait galleries, the turnaround time is typically 1-2 weeks. When it's busy season (July/Aug), turnaround time can increase to 2-4 weeks. For wedding galleries, you can expect your sneak peek in 48 hours! Your complete, hand-edited gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks.
How many photos will i receive?
I focus on quality over quantity and always cull and edit the best. While your package covers a set amount, I often include "bonus" shots in your gallery. You'll have the opportunity to view all of them and decide if you'd like to stick with your package or upgrade to the "All-Inclusive" digital set.
How will I receive my photos?
Your images will be delivered in a private gallery via my website.
Do we get the "raw" or unedited files?
To ensure the highest quality and maintain my artistic brand, I do not release unedited or RAW files. Each photo you receive is carefully culled and edited in my signature style to ensure you look your absolute best.
can i print my photos anywhere?
Every gallery comes with a "Personal Print Release", meaning you can print your photos at any lab of your choice. I also link a professional-grade print shop directly to your Pixieset gallery for high-end wall art and albums that are guaranteed for color accuracy.
